Bryant Narvaez was diagnosed at birth with tetralogy of Fallot, pulmonary stenosis, and a ventricular septal defect. This required him to undergo open-heart surgery when he was just four months old.

Narvaez's goal is to use his platform as a youth heart ambassador to help students around him understand the hurdles he has had to overcome.

"I want my friends to see that I am working hard to keep up," Narvaez said. "I want them to listen to my story so they can understand me."
