Breakfast is the Most Important Meal of the Day
Some students are running late in the morning, are not hungry, or want to sleep later, so they skip breakfast. This is a BIG mistake since children are still growing and their brains are still developing. By breakfast time, most students have not eaten in about 12 hours! Brains and bodies are in desperate need of fuel in the morning in order to think and have energy. Students who skip breakfast have more headaches and stomach aches. Studies have shown that kids who skip breakfast are tardy and absent from school more often than children who eat breakfast on a regular basis. Be smart and stay fueled up! Eat breakfast every day!
