BCE is proud to recognize two outstanding members of its school community, honoring Macy Pulk as the 2025 - 2026 Teacher of the Year and Amy Jo Hamrick as the 2025 - 2026 Classified Staff Member of the Year. Both recipients exemplify dedication, leadership, and a deep commitment to supporting students and colleagues alike.

Mrs. Macy Pulk, a beloved kindergarten teacher, has made a lasting impact on generations of students and families. She has taught kindergarten for 8 years and has served as a team leader for 6 years, demonstrating both experience and strong leadership skills. Known for her positive attitude and unwavering dedication, Mrs. Pulk consistently goes above and beyond in her role. Whether she is creating engaging learning opportunities for her students or supporting her fellow teachers, she approaches every task with 100 percent effort and enthusiasm. Her ability to lead by example and inspire those around her has made her an invaluable member of the BCE team.

Amy Jo Hamrick, affectionately known as Ms. Amy Jo, has also made a remarkable impact during her time at BCE. Now in her third year at the school, she has embraced new challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism. Ms. Amy Jo began her career at BCE as an Educational Assistant, where she built strong relationships with students and staff while supporting classroom learning. This year, she transitioned into the role of Instructional Secretary, taking on new responsibilities and adapting seamlessly to the change.

Both Mrs. Pulk and Ms. Amy Jo represent the heart of BCE. Their commitment to excellence, teamwork, and student success embodies the values of the school community. Their contributions have not gone unnoticed, and this recognition highlights the important role each of them plays in making BCE a supportive and thriving environment for all.
