About Mrs. Dowell

This will be my 18th year in education.  I have had the pleasure of teaching 3rd grade, 2nd grade, 1st grade, kindergarten, and library science.  After spending several years teaching 3rd grade, I am returning back to the 2nd grade classroom!

I am a graduate of MTSU.  My Bachelor Degree is in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K-4th Grade).  Also, I have a Master's Degree in Administration & Supervision with a concentration in Library Science (PreK-12 Grade).

 

I have been married to my husband and best friend for 21 years.  We have four children together.  Bryan (Freshman at UTK), Cliff (10th grade @ Siegel High), Mary Beth (8th grade @ Siegel Middle), and James (7th grade @ Siegel Middle).  

 

We love watching baseball, Titans Football, UT Football, and Kentucky Basketball.  My family enjoys visiting historical sites, swimming in our backyard, and our yearly trip to Hilton Head.
