Welcome Buckaroos!  Second grade is a great place to be!
This is my 29th year of teaching!  I have taught in grades 1st -5th with the majority of my time being spent in 2nd grade. I earned my education degree at Carson-Newman University and my Master's in Administration from MTSU.  I have two children, Austin who is 26 and Kirstin who is 16 and attends Stewart's Creek High School.   Some of my favorite things are coffee, chocolate, UT Vols, and anything pink!

Fun Friday

Today we learned more about the Solar Eclipse and completed some activities and a headband to help celebrate.  The special Eclipse glasses should be in the Saddle Bag in an envelope with a label on the front.  We put them in there to protect the lenses.  It is very important not to scratch them.  The students also have a Moon Pie for Monday (or today if they can't wait).

Have a wonderful long weekend!
