About Mrs. Hausman

After starting my career in Early Childhood Education in early 2013, I quickly found that this field is my passion. I graduated from Millikin University in 2015 with my bachelor's degree in ECE. I currently hold my Professional Educator License in Tennessee as well as Illinois (My IL license also includes endorsements for both ESL and Special Education)

I have been in Early Childhood Education for the past ten years, in the classroom as well as in leadership. I believe with everything I am that these years are the foundation for all future learning. Everything we do with these young kiddos will set them up for success for the rest of our lives. We are going to make every minute and every experience count!

I am originally from Champaign, Illinois. I grew up on a farm full of cows, pigs, chickens, and lots and lots of corn. I love the rural life and get so excited to see corn fields on my way to work in the morning! I married the man of my dreams, Kelby, in 2010. We have been blessed to experience all that life has thrown our way together. We have 2 wonderful kiddos- Marlena & Milo. We love being together as a family, hiking, and traveling any chance we get!

I have 4 sugar gliders- Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason

I have a 12-year-old bichon, DJ, that never stops barking or snuggling

I LOVE to travel

Cruising is my favorite way to go. I just want to feel the sand & the sea as often as I can!

I am OBSESSED with Disney World and all things Disney

I love ALL the coffee. Ice lattes from Dunkin' are my go-to. But I especially love Joanie’s

Chocolate and popcorn are my favorite snacks

I'm a Slytherin. Never saw it coming, but I own it! <3

I read every spare moment I can

If you step into my classroom, you will quickly see that I love plants! Feeling sad? Time for a new plant baby :)
